All summer long we hosted an outdoor dinner series in our organic urban farm, in West Town, a neighborhood of warehouses and light industry. From the street you wouldn't know that there is lush garden with a pergola and long farm table in the middle of it.

The first farm dinner of the summer was in late June and the series ran through September. Each dinner had a different menu and design, a different group of local collaborators, and a portion of each dinner's ticket went to a non-profit focused on growing healthy food in the city. The dinners are intimate with two dozen diners sitting down at the long table together.

The first dinner was inspired by Scandinavian Midsommar festivals. The menu was created by Heidi and BDP’s Executive Chef who had spent years cooking in Norway. Most of the dinner's produce was grown in our garden and the meat came from farms that we have a personal relationship with. We partnered with Nimble Well, for tabletop rentals and styling, the installation artist Emily Campanale created a massive macramé installation with cording and hula hoops suspended above the table, and Tuan B + Co photographed the dinner from preparation to the end of the evening.

The dinner was picked up by Domino Magazine as an Online Feature
